On Saturday June 21st at 10 AM, some of us will be getting together to enjoy the springtime, get some fresh air and take a chance to chat. This lovely ~8mile circular walk takes us from Harlington train station to Sharpenhoe and Pulloxhill. We will be lunching at the Cross Keys in Pulloxhill.
For those travelling by train we will be getting the 09.04 from St Pancras International (NOT Kings Cross). The train will be going towards Bedford and we will leave from Platform B, which is below street level at the north end of the station, getting off at Harlington at 09.49. This is the First Capital Connect Thameslink service (the train we will be getting also stops at West Hampstead Thameslink at 09.11, for anyone living in northwest London).
Please let Lidunka know (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you want to come so that she can book a table in the pub.
The walk is mostly flat with one or two gentle uphills, but it might be a bit muddy in places, so walking boots or similar sturdy footwear necessary. This walk is also an occasion to bring the family – keeping in mind that it is an 8 mile walk.
Lidunka’s phone number should you need it on the day is: 07957 611563.
We hope to see some of you there!
